Our pathways

Everything from training to offsetting, under one roof

3.7%of global greenhouse gas emissions come from digital technology. Every website, email and video stream is part of it.

Why digital sustainability

  • Hidden energy costs. Every page view, email and video stream uses power in data centres, networks and the device it is viewed on.
  • Green claims need proof. The CMA’s Green Claims Code says environmental claims must be backed by evidence, and since April 2025 the CMA can fine businesses up to 10% of global turnover for breaking consumer law. Sources: Green Claims Code, CMA, April 2025
  • Big contracts ask for it. Bidding for central government contracts worth over £5 million a year means publishing a Carbon Reduction Plan. Source: GOV.UK, PPN 006
